Departure time

  • Shuttle Departure Time (from Waikiki): 6:10 AM
  • Shuttle Return Time (back in Waikiki): 12:30 PM

Diamond Head Hike

  • Hiking Distance: 1.6 miles round trip

  • Level of Difficulty: Moderate

  • Trail Conditions: Paved at the start, with uneven walkways and steep stairways toward the summit

Makapu‘u Hike

  • Hiking Distance: 2.5 miles round trip

  • Level of Difficulty: Moderate

  • Trail Conditions: Paved paths with hot, dry slopes, 500 ft. elevation gain; windy sections near the coastline

This tour combines the iconic Diamond Head Hike—offering 360-degree views at the summit—with the scenic Makapu’u Hike, one of the island’s most popular trails. Both hikes are perfect for nature lovers, first-time visitors, and families looking for a memorable outdoor adventure.

Your tour package includes round-trip transportation from Waikiki hotels, a complimentary bottle of water, park fees, and a map/brochure (of Diamond Head).

All guests must ride the shuttle—self-driving or outside transportation is not permitted. If you do not need the shuttle, please do not make a reservation.

Restrictions

  • Participants should not have a serious fear of heights.
  • Not recommended for persons with heart, neck, back, or joint problems.
  • Participants must be physically fit

What to Bring & What to Wear: Comfortable shoes, hat, and sunglasses.

As a courtesy reminder please do not eat food in our shuttle and/or bring any drinks to be consumed inside.

Cancellation Policy:

Any changes or cancellations must be made at least 48 HOURS before your scheduled reservation. Cancellations made less than 48 hours before your tour will be charged 100% of the total amount to your credit card.
